We know that communication is something parents are particularly keen that we improve on and we welcomed all the ideas you shared with us on the parent survey earlier this year.

Our aim, when redesigning the website, has been to create a site which is quick to navigate, with the information you often want to access easy to find. We were also aiming to make sure other visitors, such as prospective parents can gain a flavour of our school.

Some of the changes you will find are:

• Simplified class pages so that you can quickly find out whether it’s PE Day, see what the children are learning and find copies of lost letters.
• A calendar link on the front page, that you can sync with your own.
• Latest news and our twitter feed on the front page (scroll down) so that you can keep up to date with what we’ve been up to and what’s coming up.
• Much more detail on our curriculum.

Of course, we won’t know how well it works for the people that need to access it until you’ve started to try it out, so constructive feedback will be very helpful.

Our new website will be published during the evening of Friday 21^st April. As part of the website switch process, users may encounter a short period of downtime when visiting our site or items may not be displayed correctly. While we would expect this to last no longer than 24 hours, we have included a few key bits of contact information below, should you need to access these during this time.
