Meet The BSFA Team
We are primarily run by a group of three parents and two Bleasby school staff members who are trustees but also have ‘friends’ who are parents, grandparents and carers who help the charity on a more ad-hoc basis. We are a really friendly team who enjoy planning events that keep our children, school and community happy, entertained and engaged, whilst at the same time raising much required funds for Bleasby school.
Rosie Raife - Chair
BSFA Representative for Silver Birch Class (Year 3)
Rosie is a full-time working Mummy with a child in Silver Birch Class (year 3) and a younger child yet to start school.
Rosie was previously a Trustee but stepped up to the role of chair this school year, 2023-2024, to ensure that the BSFA could continue its fundraising efforts
Position available - Secretary
The position of Secretary for the BSFA is available. The role is currently being shared between the other Trustees.
Joanne west - Treasurer
BSFA representative for Maple Class (year 4)
Joanne is also a full-time working mummy with a child in Maple class (year 4) and an older child at The Minster School.
Joanne joined the BSFA as a Trustee back in 2020 and has helped to raise funds for the school through a variety of events over the last 4 years.
Kathy Smith - Trustee
Kathy is one of the schools fabulous Teaching Assistants and is also a Trustee of the BSFA helping to plan events and fundraise for the school. Kathy is new to the BSFA and has played an instrumental part this school year in planning and participating in our events.
Laura Perkins - Trustee
BSFA representative for year 1
Laura is a working mummy with children in year 1. Laura has been part of the BSFA for as long as she has been part of the school. Laura and her husband, Dan, are both a huge asset to the team and a great help and support at all our events.
Nicky Blacknall - Trustee
BSFA Representative for school staff
Nicky is an amazing Teacher for Apple Class (Reception) and a valuable member of the BSFA team, working tirelessly to help fundraise for the school.
