We had an amazing day at Brackenhurst. The activities included a tour of the site to look at the different areas and consider sustainable farming, a demonstration of how querns were used to make flour (this reminded us of farming in the Iron Age), and we also made cheese, compostable plant pots and apple juice. We visited the donkeys, goats, and stables and found out how the horses are cared for at the Equestrian Centre. Thank you to the Outdoor Education Team for a great day of learning.
