Published 13/01/24, by Angela DunningTuesday 9th Jan 2024 - We did some soil experiments to investigate the different areas of our school garden. Yr 3 and 4 are learning about soils in class, so we thought we'd find out about the soil in our school garden and how this impacts what we grow. The group will measure the different layers next week to see how much organic matter, clay, silt and sand is present. The children will use this information to help them decide what to grow and where.

With the money raised from plant/produce sales and donations we were able to get some vibrant plants from the garden centre. The amazing Dahlias were a gift to the school from a pupil's relative.
